Reklamombudsmannens handles complaints about both gender discriminating and otherwise unethical advertisements and uses the guidance of the Advertising and Marketing Communication Practice from the 
International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) when judging ads.
Reklamombudsmannen only handles complaints about advertising directed to the Swedish market, and does not handle complaints about advertising that is not commercial, such as political or religous messages.
Anyone can file a complaint to Reklamombudsmannen. A complaint can´t be anonymous, but the names of private persons is not published in the desicions. If you want to file a complaint you can use our complaints form.
